Back with our PHInomenal Friday series! Starting us off is Alice Chen !!
Alice is a junior from Raleigh, NC studying Biology and Chemistry on a Pre-Pharmacy track! She’s also an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician at UNC Hospitals and President of the Circle K International chapter on campus! Here’s what she says about her involvement outside of Alpha Phi!
“When going Alpha Phi, I heard everyone say, “These will be your girls for life.” I didn’t know what that meant at the time, but now I can’t express the genuine support system I have gained in every aspect imaginable! Whether I need a study buddy, or someone to grab YOPO and talk to after a stressful week (oftentimes both), I know my sisters are the people I can always rely on.
Balancing academics, extracurriculars, and work can seem daunting but being surrounded by such empowering individuals made my worries so much smaller. My big, Ruhi, and I have spent countless hours studying at Purple Bowl together, and I truly can’t think of a better role model to look up to!
Through my role in CKI, I got the opportunity to collaborate and meet passionate leaders that showed me the impact of leadership, service, and fellowship.”
