Decision Making

This study will take place on campus at the Kenan-Flagler Business School. Participants will be asked to complete a number of decision making tasks, listen to a guided relaxation audio clip, and respond to a series of brief questionnaires.

Team Decision Making

We are studying team decision-making processes. You will be randomly assigned to a team of four participants.

Due to the nature of recruitment for team studies, there is a possibility that you will not be able to complete this task if other participants miss their appointments. In this event, you will either be given an alternate task for the same compensation during your allotted time, or receive a payment of $3 for arriving if there is no alternate task available.

Participants will play a networked computer game designed to engage teams of 5 people in the common task of discovering and destroying threats and opportunities in a defined external environment.

Due to the nature of recruitment for team studies, there is a possibility that you will not be able to complete this task depending on participants show up rates. In this event, you will receive a payment of $5 and will be able to sign up for a future time slot.

You must complete a brief pre-survey prior to signing up for this study.
