Food Waste Volunteer Opportunity **FREE FOOD INVOLVED**
Carolina Dining Services is hosting Eat, Sort, Win: a waste sorting competition based at the Bottom of Lenoir. To promote the competition and encourage the Carolina community to adopt life-long waste sorting habits, CDS and the Three Zeros Environmental Initiative are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to serve as Sorting Concierges.

From Oct. 1st to Oct. 5th between 11:30-1:30pm, Sorting Concierges will help the Carolina community sort their lunchtime waste. Don’t worry about experience level — we have a handout readily available to help you know what goes where! Volunteers are provided a free t-shirt and one free meal voucher per hour volunteered (to Top of Lenoir/Rams Head Dining Hall).

This is going to be a big week for FLO!! Here's our schedule:

Monday- Meeting in Dey 201 from 7:45-8:30 to discuss all these awesome events! Snacks provided as always :)

Tuesday- Sustainable Fisheries Green Theme Meal from 5-8PM in Rams. This is an awesome event, and you get a free swipe if you volunteer!

Friday- Our First Farmers Market of the Semester! Please sign up to volunteer, and if you can't definitely stop by to say hello and check out our awesome vendors! Also follow FLO Farmers Market for updates specific to that.
