Dipen Patel, 2019 graduate of our Master of Science in Sport Administration program, has served as Head Volleyball Coach at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls since 2022. He has recently been selected as an assistant coach for the USA Deaf Volleyball Men's National Team.

In this role, Coach Patel will help lead Team USA as they compete at the 2028 Pan American Games and the 2029 Deaflympics in Athens, Greece.

We are proud to see our alumni making an impact on the international stage. Congratulations, Coach Patel, and best of luck with Team USA!

RIVER FALLS, Wis. – UW-River Falls head volleyball coach Dipen Patel and assistant coach Roger Worsley have been selected to serve on the coaching staff for the USA Deaf Volleyball Men's Indoor National Team.

This non-paid position offers valuable résumé-building experience working directly with a Division I coaching staff in training and match-day operations. It's an excellent opportunity for students interested in coaching, athletic administration, or sport management.

Since the EIU Softball and Athletics Graduate Assistants were traveling on Saturday, a small graduation ceremony was held for them on Monday, May 11. On April 24, 2026, the KSR Department proudly hosted our Annual Scholarship and Awards Day. This is one of our favorite traditions, as it gives us the opportunity to celebrate our students and recognize their hard work and achievements.
