A HUGE congratulations to our fantastic ESO trombonists for throwing down an amazing performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 this past weekend!! We’re so proud of you! Congratulations as well to all the members of the Eastern Symphony Orchestra and Chorus- bravo to all! We can’t wait to hear you again in December 💙

The EIU Trombone Studio had a wonderful time attending Illinois Low Brass Day yesterday! Members of our studio participated in group warmups, masterclasses, a presentation by members of the President’s Own Marine Band low brass section, and a final low brass choir performance. Thank you to the University of Illinois Trombone Studio for hosting us for this awesome event, we can’t wait to come back!

And with that, week one of the fall semester is in the books for the EIU Trombone Studio! It’s been a fantastic week getting to see all our returning students, and also getting to welcome some brand new faces! We can’t wait to see what everyone does this year 🤩
