EIU Art Education & Community Arts The Department of Art Education at EIU provides teachers, professionals, and students with professional training and experiences leading to a BFA or an MA.

The Department of Art Education at EIU provides art teachers and current students with professional training and experiences leading to a BFA in Art with Teacher Certification for grades K-12 or an online MA in Art Education. The Community Arts program is an online MA program designed to strengthen the development of non-certified and non-certification seeking professionals who work or desire to work with the arts in educational settings outside of the public school system.

EIU Art Ed is excited to announce that enrollment is still open for this year's *FREE* Art Mix after-school program for students in grades 6-12. Please share with any eager young artists who are looking to learn some fun new things and sharpen their skills! The program will run on Tuesday afternoons (9/23 - 10/21) from 3:45 - 5:30pm. Please reach out if you have any questions, and share with any young artists you may know!

Thank you for your interest in joining Art Mix, and exciting after-school art experience for artists in grades 6-12 this fall at Tarble Arts Center.
