The American College of the Building Arts (ACBA) is dedicated to educating the next generation of building artisans and to preserving the building arts in a manner never before seen in America. ACBA Blacksmithing student Colby Padgett spent his summer externship with Lewis Bōdy in Memphis, TN. While there, he worked on a commissioned bronze tree with a stainless steel base plate; each piece was tapered, forged, and bent before assembly. Swipe to take a closer look.
