Gamma Xi Omega Chapter member, Natasha, loves adult coloring books when she wants to unplug and relax her mind. The stress of work and personal life can take a toll sometimes, but taking a step back and engaging in something as simple as coloring for 30 minutes helps to recalibrate and clear her mind. ✍️🏾

Gamma Xi Omega chapter’s ‘Uplifting our Local Community Committee’ visited the Charleston Area Senior Citizens (Ansonborough House) for their "senior prom" on May 22, 2026 from 4pm-6pm. The theme was FIESTA! Volunteers helped with engaging the seniors with games, dancing and lunch.

Empower Our Families Mental Health Awareness subcommittee treated Gamma Xi Omega members with Mental Health Awareness goodie bags as they entered our May chapter meeting. The bags contained a small adult coloring book, mini colored pencils, a card with a stress relief or mindfulness activity, a pen, tissue packet, mints & a local therapeutic resource card.
