Global Entrepreneurship Week: Brandon Brooks
A successful start to Global Entrepreneurship week, CofC alum Brandon Brooks spoke to a large group of students, professors, and visitors on November 13, 2017. He talked about his journey as both a musician and an entrepreneur, and how ICAT influenced his decision to start his company JYVE. Brooks inspired his audience to remain persistent, passionate, and to always believe in themselves and their ideas.

A small group of College of Charleston professors, ENTR 445, and ELLC Honors students met with restaurant extraordinaire Michael Shemtov. Curator of Butcher & Bee, The Daily, The Workshop, and six other eateries, Shemtov discussed his journey after graduating from the Honors College at the College of Charleston.
