OSWW is offering Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training certification this summer.

ASIST was developed to provide su***de prevention training to everyone.

Learn how to:

recognize when someone may be thinking about su***de
provide an intervention
develop a safety plan with the person to connect them to further support.

Why should you take ASIST beyond being a caring, compassionate member of the our country?

It is Life-Saving: Anyone can experience thoughts of su***de. By learning how to respond and help someone struggling, our friends, family members, students, and colleagues have help to work through the crisis.

Trusted: ASIST is the most widely used su***de intervention training workshop in the world. Over 100,000 people attend each year in more than 30 countries.

Engaging: ASIST is dynamic, hands-on workshop that includes presentations, discussions, videos, plus simulations to practice intervention skills.

Proven: ASIST works. Over 50 peer-reviewed studies and government reports show that LivingWorks programs increase skills to recognize signs a person is having thoughts of su***de and to confidently intervene to help keep them safe.
