Standard beam or EcoBeam? Here's how we think about it.

Our standard beam series ships as a complete kit, with multi-pole configurations built to your exact specs. EcoBeam is the stock-and-go option: a pole mount your distributor keeps on the shelf, ready for pickup, with components you can source locally.

What EcoBeam brings:
• Holds 6-15 modules per pole, depending on module size
• Fits residential and commercial-size modules
• Stocked by distributors for pickup, so you're not waiting on a kit
• Calc packs and PE stamps are available after you pick it up

That last one means you don't need a signed job to buy. Keep a few EcoBeams on hand, and when the next customer says yes, you're ready to go.

Ordering to your exact specs? Standard beam series. Want it fast and flexible? EcoBeam.

Built to survive the Sierra winter, parked on ground that’s healing itself. ⛰️❄️

Challenge Electric installed two MT Solar pole mounts at Clover Valley Ranch, engineered for 110 mph winds and 144 PSF of snow load at 5,000+ feet in California’s Red Clover Valley.

The ranch is doing its own heavy lifting too. A restoration effort led by The Sierra Fund is projected to sequester nearly 188,000 metric tons of CO2e, working to halt stream erosion and building beaver dam analogs to invite beavers back.

Two mounts. Forty modules. Built for real Sierra winters.

"Very pleased with MT Solar, the staff, and the product! They were attentive on the phone, answered my questions, and were very helpful. They followed through from the initial call to final delivery... They do what they say, no excuses, and take responsibility. A stand up company with a racking system that is difficult to beat. I will recommend MT Solar to anyone!"

When the roof doesn't have the space, the ground still does. ☀️

Jeff Laursen at JKL Electric ran into exactly that on this residential project in the Bitterroot Valley — not enough roof to hit the power needs. The fix: a ground-mounted MT Solar pole array, built for the open field instead of the rooftop — and free to face whatever direction and angle gets the most sun, not just whatever way the roof happens to slope.

An easy, ground-level install including adjusting the tilt by hand to dial in the angle for peak output, no ladder required. 💪⚡️

On September 16, community solar got a new home in Whitefish, as Flathead Electric Cooperative opened its newest array to the members who made it happen.

It's FEC's third community solar site, and the co-op's first paired with battery storage. Members turned out for the ribbon-cutting and open house to see the panels their own subscriptions helped fund — 368 of the array's 448 panels were purchased directly by FEC members.

Built on MT Solar pole mounts, this is more than infrastructure — it's something the community can walk right up to, ask questions about, and watch power flow.

Missoula's Home ReSource — the city's build-materials reuse nonprofit — just took sustainability a step further: a 60kW ground-mount solar array, installed by Jordan Solar with MT Solar pole mounts, now covers their entire annual electricity use.

The project came together through a genuinely collaborative funding stack — seed money from NorthWestern Energy, support from Clearwater Credit Union, and federal reimbursement — and the array does double duty, sheltering some of the donated materials Home ReSource stores in its yard.

"We just love the visibility of it," said executive director Kelli Hess. People already know Home ReSource for its reuse store — now they'll see the sustainability commitment too.

Hats off to Five Star Nomadic, Ltd. for another amazing project.

Deep in Montana's Garnet Range, they built a full commercial-grade microgrid on an MT Solar XD dual top-of-pole mount — 28 REC Alpha Pure-RX modules, gear-driven tilt adjustment, passive snow shedding. Zero margin for error, zero compromise.

Build an array with real clearance underneath, and the ground keeps earning its keep.

Atlasta Solar Center installed a resilient agrivoltaic solar and storage system for The Storm Cellar in West Elks, CO. After installation, the vineyard set a long table under the panels and served dinner — vines on one side, guests in the shade of the array, everything still producing.

That's the case for going to the ground. Not land taken out of use. Land doing two jobs.

Nice work, Atlasta Solar Center. 🍷☀️

Raise your arrays and keep the space below working for you. ☀️

Elevated solar arrays can help preserve usable ground space while generating clean energy above. Whether the area below is used for open access, maintenance, landscaping, equipment movement, or future site needs, raising the system can make solar feel like a smarter fit for the property. 💪
