The Reverend O’ Donald Di**le College of Ministers & Laity at Lighthouse Bible College proudly invites you to mark your calendars for a historic and distinguished.
Join us as we celebrate the Inaugural Class of Scholars, a remarkable group of clergy and lay leaders who exemplify excellence in ministry, scholarship, and community impact.
This esteemed college is named in honor of the late Reverend O’ Donald Di**le, a pillar of faith, leadership, and justice in Clarendon County.
Rev. Di**le devoted his life to preaching the Gospel with power and conviction. He lead faithfully for over 45 years as the Senior Pastor of Clarendon County where he was Pastor of Shiloh and Holly Hill Missionary Baptist Churches. Where he licensed and ordained our college founder. He was an active advocate for civil rights and social justice, even having the opportunity to March and rally alongside some of our country’s greatest leaders, including the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Reverend Di**le was a champion for education, equality, and community empowerment. Reverend Di**le, opened the doors of opportunity for Women Leaders & Preachers across the state, giving them an opportunity to preach, be licensed and ordained through the Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Association. He was also the Moderator for the South River Jordan Union Association.
His legacy stands as a beacon of what it means to live a life of purpose, where faith meets action and leadership transforms communities.
The O’ Donald Di**le College of Ministers & Laity was established to: Honor leaders who serve beyond the pulpit, Equip scholars committed to justice and service and Inspire a new generation to lead with faith, integrity, and impact.
This inaugural induction marks the beginning of a lasting legacy, where scholars are not only recognized, but empowered to carry the torch forward.
