Zetas of Charlotte The premier graduate chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated in Charlotte, NC, proudly serving the Greater Charlotte community since 1934.

We address economic and social needs through impactful programming, partnerships, and mentoring. Delta Zeta was organized and chartered in December of 1934 by Ethel Butler, Thelma Harris Hunt, Lucille Robinson, Laura Davidson Rollings, and Sarah Scott Schofield with the understanding that service to our community would be our greatest legacy. Delta Zeta's auxiliaries include Amicae, Archonettes, A

micettes and Pearlettes. The chapter also sponsors two undergraduate chapters: Kappa at Johnson C. Smith University and Upsilon Xi at UNC Charlotte.

This month, we're shining the spotlight on Lakeirra DeShaun Booth, whose creativity and talents are helping Delta Zeta Chapter stay connected and informed.

Lakeirra became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated on November 19, 2023, through Tau Theta Zeta Chapter in Pineville-Matthews. She joined Delta Zeta Chapter in August 2025 and currently serves on the Communications Committee, where she develops our chapter newsletter and helps share the stories, programs, and work of Delta Zeta.
