Campus Cribs🤩
We caught up with Niner Ryan for a little Q+A about all things housing, his favorite thing about living on campus, and advice for our future Niners! Thanks Ryan💚
HRL: What is the best part of living on campus?
Ryan: The best part of living on campus is having a variety of restaurants and everything you need within walking distance. It makes life so much more convenient and creates a sense of community since you’re always around other students.
HRL: What advice do you have for incoming students about making the most of living on campus?
Ryan: My advice for incoming students about making the most of living on campus is to participate in activities, even if it means stepping out of your comfort zone. Getting involved is the best way to meet new people, build friendships, and feel more connected to campus life.
HRL: What advice do you have for incoming students prior to move in?
Ryan: Before move-in day, my biggest piece of advice is to put together anything that requires building ahead of time. It’ll save you a lot of stress and time once you arrive, so you can focus on settling in and enjoying the first day.
HRL: What advice do you have for incoming students living with roommates?
Ryan: When it comes to living with roommates, try to connect with them before move-in day. Communicate openly, include them in plans, and make an effort to get to know each other. Building that relationship early makes living together much easier and more enjoyable.
