Queens Philosophy and Religion Welcome all majors, minors, & friends of the Philosophy and Religion department at Queens University

Queens University of Charlotte is home to a thriving community of students who are dedicated to critical thinking and living ethical, thoughtful lives. Students of Philosophy and Religion at Queens are given the chance to explore thought provoking philosophical themes not only in class, but also through various events and seminars throughout the year. This page is open not only to these students,

but to all Queens students and friends of the departments of Philosophy and Religion. Here, people will be provided with news of events on campus relating to Philosophy and Religion, as well as events in the Charlotte community.

Check out Whitney Kimball Coe's speech at the Obama Foundation's 2017 Summit below! After completing our program, she completed an M.A. in Appalachian Studies and went on to take a key leadership role as the director of National Programs at the Center for Rural Strategies. In that role, she leads the Rural Assembly, a nationwide movement striving to build better policy and more opportunity for rural communities across the country. As an organizer, speaker, moderator, and writer, Whitney has shared her perspectives on community and civic courage with audiences around the world.
