Hereford College-University of Virginia Hereford is a unique community of students, faculty/community fellows and staff committed to a mission of living and learning.

Hereford Residential College, one of the three residential colleges at the University of Virginia, is a Living and Learning Community on Thomas Jefferson's Observatory Hill. All activities, events, and opportunities at Hereford are student-initiated and organized. Located on the beautiful Observatory Hill (O-Hill) at the University of Virginia, Hereford consists of green lawns, wooded hiking trails, and picturesque views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We also have our own vegetable garden!
