UVA Office of Major Events Our office manages a variety of University-wide special events. This page also highlights events he Sullivan and a 2013 visit from U.S.

The Office of Major Events manages Finals Weekend (graduation weekend), Fall Convocation, and Founder's Day events annually, along with other special events usually intended for a University-wide audience such as the Inauguration of President Teresa A. Secretary of State John Kerry. This page also highlight various events held at Carr's Hill, home of President Sullivan and her husband Doug Laycock, who is a professor at UVA's School of Law.

Final Exercises Weekend 2022 wrapped Sunday as more than 4,500 graduates from 11 UVA schools walked the Lawn.
