PVCC is proud to announce the UVA Community Credit Union as a recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Leadership in Philanthropy. For more than two decades, UVA Community Credit Union has been a steadfast partner, investing in students, strengthening the workforce pipeline and elevating the overall vitality of the region. Their sustained commitment reflects the very spirit of this award: leadership that transforms lives and creates opportunity.

At a luncheon recently hosted by the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education (VFCCE), more than two dozen individuals, families and organizations were honored with the Chancellor’s Award for Leadership in Philanthropy. This year’s class of philanthropy leaders collectively contributed an extraordinary $27 million dollars to Virginia’s Community Colleges.

Happy Emergency Medical Services (EMS) week to all who serve.

This week, PVCC joins communities across the country in recognizing those who are often the first point of contact in emergencies, providing critical medical care, reassurance and advocacy during some of life’s most difficult moments.

PVCC is proud to play a part in preparing and educating the next generation of EMTs, AEMTs and paramedics who will go on to serve the community with skill, compassion and dedication.

We are especially grateful for the students, alumni, faculty, preceptors and field providers who support EMS education and patient care every day.
