Summer 2025 Study Abroad: We are back in the USA! It was a great experience learning about Argentina and Buenos Aires. Raul, our local guide, and were awesome. Now it's time for a nap.

Summer 2025 Study Abroad: Summer 2025 study abroad: This concludes our adventure in Buenos Aires, Argentina! Today, we got to take a tour through Atlético Atlantas soccer facilities and learn about their business operations. Afterwards, we enjoyed a group lunch at Los Bohemios and made our way to Olde Bridge Denim. There we met with the founder and got an inside look of what it takes to run an Argentinian business. Before ending the night we had to try McDonald’s. What a wonderful experience, THANK YOU ARCOS!!!

Summer 2025 Study Abroad: Today we combined elements of service, history, and archeology. We began the day with a lovely sunrise run! Then we joined elderly residents at mensajeros de la paz, a local non-profit nursing home. We prepared a triditional dish, tortafritas, and enjoyed the dessert and maté while connecting with elderly through interactive activities. We learned about the importance of taking care of the elderly within the Argentinian culture. Next we ate lunch together at El cabildo and spent time exploring local antique shops. To close our day, we met at El Zanjón de Granados Defensa for a tour of a historic tunnel system, then dinner back at El cabildo. What a wonderful day of community, connection, and beautiful sites in Buenos Aires!

Summer 2025 Study Abroad: Today in Argentina we spent lots of time exploring the outdoors! First we took a boat tour of the El Tigre River and saw many beautiful homes, boats and learned lots of facts about the region. We took lot of photos and met some new friends! Next we ventured over to Vivanco for lunch and listened to beautiful live music and enjoyed the natural light. We took the bus back and went to the market! We got lots of local goods from craft and vintage vendors and then we got dinner at La Poesia!

Summer 2025 Study Abroad: Another great day in Buenos Aires, Argentina! The UTC study abroad group got to experience sports outside of the country today! We started off with a bus tour of the different neighborhoods in the city of BA. Along the way, we ate lunch at Siga La Vaca and got to try some authentic Argentinian meat. After that, we visited La Boca, a vibrant and colorful neighborhood. We then got to watch a fútbol game and cheered for and won! We ended with a night around town and explored the city for dinner. ¡Vamos comun!

Summer 2025 Study Abroad: Our group began the day with a lecture from a local economist, where we learned about Argentina’s economic challenges and how they impact daily life. After lunch together, we had free time to explore the city, shop, and engage with the local culture. We ended the evening with a tango show that truly brought Argentine tradition to life. It was a amazing day of learning, connection, and cultural growth.

Summer 2025 Study Abroad: From biking through the Ecological Reserve and sipping mate to learning about community service at Legión de la Buena Voluntad, today blended culture, leadership, and connection. We wrapped it up by cooking traditional empanadas with Raul—the legend himself! An unforgettable day of learning and giving back.

Summer 2025 Study Abroad: We started the morning off with a run! After breakfast, we went to a brief lecture about the economy in Argentina. Nearby, a cathedral was located, and a mass or memorial was held in honor of a former president. After we had lunch, we visited a cemetery and an art museum! We also saw the biggest and most famous bookstores in Argentina. To end the night, dinner was given, and the lights were out!

Summer 2025 Study Abroad: Today we arrived and toured Buenos Aires. We are so thankful and appreciative to those that donated to help make this trip possible. Cannot wait for the next seven days!
