It was First-Gen College week celebrating First generation college students. Events kicked off with the Dinning Etiquette Lunch, Junk Journaling, and ending with the National Adult Students Week Dinner.

It’s Sweet Tooth Thursday sponsored by Student Life and Engagement! Get to know the campus and participate in the scavenger hunt today from 11:00 am -2:00 pm! Find the points around campus and post a selfie of each (at least 3). After completing the task come to the Recruitment office (Omni -21) between 11am and 2pm to claim your SWEET prize!

Fall ’22 Scavenger Hunt Challenges (pick at least 3):

1. Chattanooga State student’s rock! Locate the “spirit rock” near the Student Center and post a Selfie using the hashtag !

2. Can we see some I.D. please? Student I.D’s are taken here! Locate the Student Life and Engagement office in the 1st floor of the Student Center, S-118. Post a selfie outside the entrance using the hashtag !

3. Have you gone to today classes? It’s VERY important that you attend all of your classes to successfully complete your semester! Post a selfie outside of one of your classes using the hashtag !

4. We have unofficially adopted the geese around campus as the schools pet. Spot a goose or locate one of the ponds on campus and post a selfie outside of one of your classes using the hashtag !

5. Getting here is half the fun! Take a picture in any of the designated student parking lots and post your selfie using the hashtag !

6. Did you know that Chattanooga State is the ONLY community college in the state that has a Tennessee Center for Advanced Technology (TCAT) on campus! Our students can also come in for services such as massages, facials, haircuts, vehicle repair and so many other services at a great discounted rate. WOW! Post a selfie in or around TCAT using the hashtag !

6. Attention bookworms! Our library services extend more than just books! You can reserve a mobile class room for a study group, borrow DVD’S, find magazines and use the large screen MAC and P.C’s! The library is on the first floor of the IMC. Post a selfie in or around the library using the hashtag !

7. Not a math wiz? Well neither am I but you can get help with your math classes in the Math Center on the second floor of the IMC- 225! Post a selfie in or around the Math Center using the hashtag !

8. Readin, No! Reeding, No! Reading is fundamental! Get help with your writing assignments on the second floor of the IMC! Post a selfie in or around the Reading and Writing Center using the hashtag !

9. Our Tiger Cupboard offers support for our students if there happens to be occasional hardships. If you happen to need a little help with food or basic supplies contact our student support office on the first floor of the IMC -124. Post a selfie in or around the Student Support office using the hashtag !

10. Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, and Baseball! We’ve got sports! Check out the teams and schedules on the chattanoogastate.edu website under athletics! Take a selfie in front of the HPF (GYM) or ball fields! Post your selfie using the hashtag !

11. Our Bursars office handles payment for tuition online through your student account and in the first floor of the student center. If you have not already, sign up online to get your parking decal which can be picked up in the office as well. Don’t get a parking ticket! Those can also be paid here as well. Take a selfie in front of Bursar’s office! Post your selfie using the hashtag !
