Message from the Dean
Thanks for taking the time to investigate graduate degree opportunities at UTC. The UTC Graduate School offers you a substantial variety of accredited liberal arts and professional programs: 15 graduate certificates, 20 master's degrees, one education specialist, and four doctoral degree programs. The programs are housed in our four colleges: Arts and Sciences, Business, Engi

neering and Computer Science, and Health, Education, and Professional Studies. UTC is also proud to offer the following doctoral degree programs: a clinical doctorate (D. in Physical Therapy, a clinical doctorate (D.N.P) in Nursing Practice, an applied doctorate (Ed. in Computational Engineering. Students in our graduate programs have received regional and national recognition for their graduate work. The faculty of UTC are dedicated and passionate about providing a focused, yet comprehensive educational experience for our graduate students. Students have the opportunity to interact with faculty on a one-to-one basis to gain the most from their educational experiences. Students completing graduate degrees at UTC are prepared to handle workplace challenges, are problem solvers, and provide leadership in the communities where they reside. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga is a metropolitan campus located near the Riverfront, home of outdoor concerts, the second largest regatta in the U.S. and other opportunities to socialize. Numerous opportunities for outdoor activities and all the amenities of larger cities are available within minutes from campus.
