Voting is now open online for the Kate Hinds Steele Award and the Anita Patton Loyalty Award at https://cvent.me/ZgKn4E! The winners of these awards will be announced at Eleusinia on April 7.

Kate Hinds Steele Award: The Kate Hinds Steele Award has been presented annually since 1944 to recognize an alumna of Chi Omega who has worked tirelessly for not only the chapter but also the entire community. Kate Hinds, later Mrs. Willard Steele, was the very first model initiate. Many of her friends were Chi Omega, but Kate didn't attend a college that had a chapter. She was initiated in the early 1900's at a neighboring chapter and became an extremely active Chi Omega. Her efforts to help Delta Alpha become national were tireless. Mrs. Steele is a prime example of a Chi Omega who never lost her enthusiasm and love for the sisterhood.

Anita Patton Loyalty Award: The Anita Patton Loyalty Award originated in 1985 as a tribute to Mrs. John E. Patton, Jr., otherwise fondly known as "Miss Anita." Miss Anita was a chapter advisor and hosted Delta Alpha pledge classes at her home on Lookout Mountain for many years, passing along her love for Chi Omega to them. The award is given to the alumna who best exemplifies Miss Anita's life and continuous dedication to all phases of Chi Omega life through her continued service, enthusiasm, and interest.

Eleusinia Speaker Spotlight ✨

We are honored to welcome Kim Chapman Whitfield as our guest speaker for this year’s Eleusinia.

Kim has been the main anchor at News Channel 9 for more than 25 years and is deeply involved in our community, currently serving as President and Co-Founder of the Miracle League of Chattanooga.

A proud Phi Kappa alumna of the University of West Georgia, we look forward to hearing her story and celebrating sisterhood together!

It is our tradition to give two alumnae awards at our Eleusinia celebration. Nominations are open until Wednesday, March 11 for the Kate Hinds Steele Award and the Anita Patton Loyalty Award.
