Upcoming high school seniors
The 2025-2026 Army ROTC opens this Saturday, June 14th!

There are 3 scholarship opportunity deadlines this school year for you to turn in an application.
Interested? Keep reading for a few criteria to know before you apply!
Applicants must:
• Be a United States citizen
• Be at least 17-years-old
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (upcoming seniors, this still means you qualify as you’re on track to graduate)
• Have an unweighted high school GPA above 2.49
• Take the SAT or ACT prior to applying
• An Army Fitness Test is required to maintain the scholarship once awarded
• Agree to serve in the U.S. Army
Here are some important dates to mark on the calendar:
🔹 June 14, 2025: National Scholarship opens for 2025-2026 applications
🔹October 13, 2025: First scholarship opportunity deadline
🔹January 19, 2026: Second scholarship opportunity deadline
🔹March 4, 2026: Final day to create an online application for the 2025-2026 school year
🔹March 16, 2026: Third and final scholarship opportunity deadline

This past Thursday Cadets conducted a Platoon Raid during our weekly lab! During this raid, Cadets practiced Soldier skills such as sector sketches, tactical combat casualty care, land navigation, and the construction of terrain models. Along with planning skills such as time management.

Congratulations to Cadet Christian "CJ" Luce for completing the first year of Project Global Officer (GO). He finished an all expenses paid two years' worth of Russian language studies in two months, earning 12 credits towards his degree and a $2,500 bonus. Next year, he'll be eligible for an all expenses paid overseas immersion program in Europe or central Asia to practice his language skills.

Cadet Luce is an undeclared major, interested in both history and political science. He hopes to use his degree and language skills towards a U.S. Army officer career such as Military Intelligence in the future.

Congrats to Cadet Hunter Cameron (photo left) for completing the Basic Course at Fort Knox! It's all part of the process to helping him accomplish his goal to become a U.S. Army Nurse! He was recently awarded a three-year nurse scholarship to complete his pre-nursing requirements, nursing school, and covering expenses like the NCLEX exam, scrubs, a stethoscope, etc. He'll accomplish his dream and serve his country by taking care of Soldiers and their families at a U.S. Army hospital or clinic.

Congratulations to Cadets Skyler Phillips and Taylor Skipworth on their graduation from Cadet Summer Training (CST) today! Both of them earned an "Excellent" rating on all three of their leadership assessments during the situational exercise portion of CST. Great job to both of them and they'll move into the final phase of their academics and development to become 2nd Lieutenants in the Army after graduation.
