We encourage you all to donate to the Kent Center's "Goosebump Jump" page as six of our team members are participating in the event this Saturday and $25 is needed per participant. The Kent Center is an organization we have worked side by side with in our Soap With Hope project and all of the proceeds donated will go to supporting people with development disabilities.

Please consider donating to an event run by our longtime partners at the Kent Center. Six of our team members will be jumping in the frigid November water in an effort to raise money for people with diverse abilities to live fulfilling and independent lives. Roughly $25 is needed per teammate and if you choose to donate please note in your comment that it is on behalf of Washington College Enactus.

This past Friday, our presentation team competed in the Washington D.C. area regional competition. We're proud to say that we've again been deemed regional champions and are on our way to Kansas City to compete in the national competition next month! Thank you so much to all the people that we've worked with and are currently working with--you truly help us achieve our goal of making a positive impact on people's lives. The go-to American snack is usually a bag of chips, some cheese puffs, a ham and mayo sandwich on white bread….you get the picture.   Lots of people say that snacking in the day is bad for you…

The Washington College executive board had a great time at the Washington D.C. Fall Leadership Training Conference. We met with other teams in the region to discuss sustainability issues and worked together in simulations that taught us how to improve both our team itself and our outreach capabilities. We also had the opportunity to interview with Enactus partner companies, and our very own Melchol Fantaye '19 landed a job offer from Walmart/Sam's Club by the end of the conference! Congrats again, Mel!
