Meet Fannie Hobba Shenk ’84 P’15 P’19, the latest feature in our summer alumni spotlight series!

As a Washington College alumna, parent of two graduates, and recently retired member of the Advancement and Alumni Relations team, Fannie has dedicated decades of her life to the College community. From fundraising and reunion planning to helping alumni feel at home when they return to campus, her impact can be felt across generations of Shoremen.

Reflecting on her time at Washington College, Fannie shares stories of philanthropy, connection, family, and the traditions that make this community so special.

Homecoming Weekend returns to Washington College on September 25–27, 2026. Join fellow Shoremen, alumni, and friends for a weekend of traditions, reconnecting, and celebrating the inauguration of President Bryan Matthews.

The inauguration celebration will take place Friday, September 25, from 3–7 p.m.

Meet Eric Dalski ’05, the latest feature in our summer alumni spotlight series! Eric is the co-founder of Highview Creations, a green roof company helping transform New York City rooftops into sustainable urban spaces.

Inspired by a life-changing study abroad experience while at Washington College, Eric combined his interests in economics and the environment to build a successful business rooted in sustainability.
