Could this "superplant" save us from global warming?

Our world is heating up. As CO2 emissions rise, scientists hope a new crop will help fight climate change by storing more carbon in its roots. These superplants should be available soon, and if widely used, could suck enough carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere to curb global warming.
