Today we’re celebrating the incredible BC undergrads who welcomed our Campus School students back to school yesterday! 🦅

A huge thank you to the student-athletes from Tennis, Ski, Softball, Men’s & Women’s Ice Hockey, Field Hockey, Women’s Soccer, Fencing, and Swim & Dive who showed up ready to make our students feel welcome!

Special shoutout to BC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Co-Presidents and Ski Team members Gunnar and Molly, who helped organize such an amazing student-athlete turnout.

And of course, we’re so grateful for our Campus School Volunteers of Boston College (CSVBC), who bring friendship, energy, and so much joy to our students all year long.

What a way to start the school year! We’re lucky to have the best BC community. 🦅

🦅 YAY! Our Campus School students are BACK IN THE HOUSE! 🎉

What an incredible BC welcome from our student-athletes, Campus School Volunteers (CSVBC), BC Police, and our favorite mascot, Baldwin! The BC and Campus School community is truly extraordinary.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our students’ first day back so special. And most importantly, welcome back to our amazing Campus School students! We’ve missed you and can’t wait for all that this year has in store. It’s going to be a great year! 🦅

Let’s try this again! 😊 There was a bit of confusion with the photos and names of our amazing 2026–2027 CSVBC Executive Board members in the last post.

So, here we are with the correct photos and names of all of our EBoard members, two of whom are identical twins. (I promise we’ll do better next time!) 😉

Three cheers for this amazing group of women! 🎉 We are so excited to have these dedicated and enthusiastic leaders guiding Campus School Volunteers of Boston College, one of the largest student groups on campus.

Thank you for bringing your time, energy, and passion to Campus School. We are so grateful for all you do and can’t wait to see what this year brings! 🦅

We were thrilled to partner once again with the Pine Manor Institute of Student Success at Boston College during the summer session!

Rising sophomores at Boston-area high schools participated in the Creating for Social Good course and visited Campus School twice as part of the program.

During their first visit, students toured Campus School, met with Meghan, our Assistive Technology Specialist, and had the opportunity to see and interact with a variety of assistive technology, games and communication tools that support our students’ learning, communication and independence.

They then put what they learned into action, designing and building customized projects with our students in mind. Their final projects included a sensory guitar, sensory cube, acrylic “I Feel” assistive technology device and interactive sensory board.

During their second visit to Campus School, the Institute students presented their projects to our students, who immediately began exploring and interacting with their creations. The Institute students really listened, understood what our students needed and created incredible projects that our students could immediately enjoy and use.

This is an impactful, multi-year collaboration, and we are so grateful to Associate Director for Curriculum and Assessment Dr. Rebecca Mitchell and Instructor Gloria Jung for leading this partnership, as well as to all of the Institute students for their thoughtful work. Thank you for your continued commitment to our students!

Our students are enjoying their summer vacation while we’re getting ready for their return in just a couple of weeks. We’re missing all of our students and the joy they bring to Campus School. We can’t wait to see everyone again soon! 🦅
