Congratulations Michael Magree, S.J. The North American Patristics Society awarded his book, The Interpretation of Kenosis from Origen to Cyril of Alexandria: Dimensions of Self-Emptying in the Reception of Philippians 2:7 (Oxford, 2024) with the “Best First Book Prize." This prize is awarded once every two years, and his book was one of 20 that were nominated on this occasion. Michael follows Dr. Brian Dunkle, S.J. (CSTM) who received the prize in 2018.
