We commit wholeheartedly to voice the concerns of the student body, to act as an instrument for the cooperation of students, faculty, and administration, to provide an open forum for dialogue and a voice for student opinions concerning the traditions, ideas, and affairs of the University, and we shall do so in order to afford all undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in the management of their own affairs.

The Student Government of Loyola Chicago extends our deepest gratitude to Sister Jean for her unwavering faith, wisdom, and compassion. Her guidance has shaped generations of Ramblers and inspired us all to lead with purpose and kindness.

As we reflect on her incredible legacy, we send our prayers and heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched. Sister Jean’s light will forever shine within the Loyola community.
