Meet Keeley Academy student, Molly Ball, third year finance and accountancy minor from the suburbs of Chicago. Molly chose to go back to school and study finance because she had an interest in investing and after following a growing market for a while, wanted to learn more about it. Her favorite part about being in the Academy is the doors that it has opened for her and meeting like-minded people with similar aspirations. The best part about studying at DePaul for Molly, has been being able to work with the diverse group of students on campus who help to foster new ideas and help each other learn. Molly shared that the best advice she has been given during her studies is to trust the process and not be afraid to ask for help when you are struggling.
Molly’s favorite movie is Tommy Boy, Chris Farly is her favorite, she loves to watch it when she needs a laugh. Some of her favorite ways to relax are going to yoga class, walking her dog, or taking a nice bubble bath. This summer Molly will be working at Citigroup as a corporate banking summer analyst. She is also planning to visit Door County, Wisconsin to enjoy stargazing and eating some delicious food. Her best advice for other finance students is to be prepared and show up and good things will follow. Good luck with your studies, Molly and enjoy your summer!
