The purpose of the men's basketball program at the University of Chicago is to provide the student-athlete with the greatest intercollegiate athletic experience possible, within the proper perspective of the educational aims of the institution. Through participation in our program, student-athletes can supplement the traditional classroom education. After the initial priorities of family, faith, a

nd education, the team will strive to display and grow in the concepts of togetherness, sacrifice, dedication, communication, and respect at all times. Through the development of the these concepts, the group of individuals will become a team that strives to reach its competitive goals The goal setting, work ethic, teamwork, and leadership skills which are enhanced in this program will add to the collegiate experience and prepare student-athletes for their post graduate lives.
