The honors program includes a research project (or capstone project) for students to participate in their senior year. Senior honor students take two courses to prepare and navigate them through the process. Senior honor students develop their research project throughout the year, which they publicly defend at the end of the semester. Students chose a topic passionate to them and related to their field.

This upcoming Tuesday, Justus Peters will present his honors senior thesis defense on Financial Literacy as an Institutional Design. We applaud Justus for his contributions and dedication to honors! We are so excited for his upcoming presentation!

We thank all of the colleges and universities that attended the MIG mini simulation. We also thank the delegates for their dedication and exceptional participation.

During the mini simulation, delegates analyzed and debated four legislative bills ranging in firearm laws, healthcare, criminal law, and school policy. Delegates will convene in Springfield, Illinois for the final MIG simulation in two weeks! Stay tuned for upcoming MIG blog posts!

Congratulations to the delegates in their achievements! We look forward to hearing about their experience in Springfield!
