This month the Daley page will feature a series of posts called "Spotlight on the Women at Daley.” Daley student Diamond Moore curated the series.
We are kicking off the series with a Spotlight on Diamond.
Diamond has been a student at Daley for a year and a semester. She is the Secretary of the SGA and a work study in the Career Services Department. Her hobbies include:
“Reading books, and writing scripts. I enjoy watching documentaries and even make some productions of my own. I love to go downtown to take pictures and expand my skill set in media communications.” Her wish list includes traveling to Italy, France, Greece, Hawaii, and Los Angeles and meeting Nicki Minaj. Diamond’s favorite quote is by Maya Angelou:
"You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”
Tomorrow Diamond will host a table in the student lobby to encourage female students to join clubs on campus and to seek out leadership positions.
