Hi everyone! The new board has recently re-gained access to the account so we will be posting a lot more frequently. For our first post back, The DU team is excited to announce the launch of the We Are This Project! In light of recent events and this period of uncertainty, we’d like to create a space for the Black community to share and promote their art. The We Are This Project will be run as a submission-based collection of essays, poems, think-pieces, music, paintings, and any other form of media that would like to be shared.
Being a member of the John Marshall or law community is NOT a requirement. Actually, there are no age/gender/career requirements with the exception that we ask all non-BIPOC folks to withhold submissions in order to give our BIPOC friends (particularly our Black friends) a spotlight they are often not given.
Please submit and share this with your classmates, colleagues, friends, family, neighbors, and spread the word! Link to submit is in bio! Email [email protected] with any questions.
