The Gate was launched in conjunction with the Institute Of Politics in January of 2013 in an effort to provide students with an opportunity to interview, research, write, edit, and voice political commentary in a non-partisan forum. The Gate publishes articles that will inform students across campus as well as individuals within the Chicago community and provide a unique perspective on current political affairs.
