Dr. Lizzy Hanks presented, "Teaching the art of conversation: Insights from a corpus of American English conversation" as the second installment of the TESOL Lecture Series in March!

She graduated with her M.A. in TESOL from NEIU in 2021 and is now an Assistant Professor of Applied Linguistics at University of South Florida. Lizzy uses corpus methods to research conversation, pragmatics, and vocabulary.
