BROTHERS, BREAST CANCER CAN AFFECT MEN TOO!

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. reminds our Brothers that breast cancer is not exclusively a women's health issue. Men can be diagnosed with breast cancer, too.

Although less common in men, breast cancer is a serious health concern that deserves our attention.

Know your body. Watch for unusual lumps, swelling, ni**le changes, or discharge, and speak with a healthcare professional if you notice something concerning.

Let's break the stigma surrounding men's health and encourage open conversations, early detection, and proactive healthcare.

Brothers, your health matters. Know the signs. Take action. Protect your future.

Reminder that next Saturday, 10/24, the Brothers of Pi Psi Sigma will be supporting Coffee, Hip-Hop, and Mental Health coffee shop! We invite all to join us. Help keep our dollars in the Black Community for as long as possible.

The Pi Psi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. is proud to support Coffee, Hip-Hop & Mental Health as our Black Business of the Month for October!

Coffee, Hip-Hop & Mental Health is more than a coffee shop. It is a Chicago-based social enterprise and nonprofit that uses coffee, culture, community, and conversation to support mental wellness and expand access to mental health resources. Proceeds from the coffee shop help fund the organization’s programs and operations, including its therapeutic and behavioral health work serving youth and adults.

Throughout October, we encourage everyone to shop, support, and spread the word! The chapter will also visit together on Saturday, October 24, from 10 AM-2 PM.

🎀💙 KNOW THE SIGNS. SPREAD AWARENESS. SAVE LIVES. 💙🎀

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and the brothers of the Pi Psi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. stand in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer, the survivors who inspire us, and the families who continue to fight alongside their loved ones.

Breast cancer does not discriminate, and awareness is important for everyone. From recognizing the warning signs to understanding the facts about breast cancer in men, education and early detection can make a life-saving difference.

🎀 Know the symptoms.
🎀 Understand your risk.
🎀 Schedule your screenings.
🎀 Encourage your loved ones to do the same.

Brothers, our commitment to service extends beyond our communities and into the health and well-being of the people we love. Let’s use our voices, share knowledge, and help break the stigma surrounding breast cancer—especially among men.

Your health matters. Your awareness matters. Early detection matters.

💙 Brotherhood. Scholarship. Service. 💙
