Thank you Access Community Health Network for having us at your Center for Discovery and Learning! Thank you to the Public Health Interns who taught our students about Epidemiology and Public Health. We had an amazing time with Ms. Dara, Ms. Tamela, & Mr. William. They made a huge impact on our students! You three helped teach our students more about Infant Mortality Rates being most common among Black Women on the West-side of Chicago, and the highest around the world. Thank you for teaching our students further about prevention of STD's and STI's! Our scholars were even able to use the information for some of their Independent Study projects! Even more so for empowering our students to be advocates now as they work towards being providers!
