UIC Phi Lambda Sigma

UIC Phi Lambda Sigma Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS) Alpha Iota Chapter at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharma At UIC, membership into PLS is done by peer recognition.

The Society encourages participation in all pharmacy activities. For a student to be eligible for membership, he or she shall be of high moral and ethical character, shall have successfully completed at least one professional year of scholastic work applicable toward a recognized pharmacy degree, and shall have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.50 on a 4.00 grading scale.

Please join PLS in celebrating Sara as student of the year!
Sara is a current P3 who has worked at CVS for 7 years and is interested in critical care and maybe oncology. Sara is proud to have initiated health fairs in Rockford with the help of Drs Christopher and Schriever as well as Shelton Kay to promote health and community. Outside of school, she likes to draw and write stories and is even working on a game demo which should be released soon! Congrats Sara!

Makayla is a current P3 who works at UI Health as an Inpatient Medication Safety and Quality extern! She is currently interested in pursuing nephrology, cardiology, and critical care. In school, Makayla has been involved in IDSPhA and PDC where she orchestrated many successful events. Outside of school, Makayla loves hanging out with her dog Xan, short for Xanax 💊!
