It is a hands-on course where you’ll design your own research project, conduct interviews and participant observation, analyze qualitative data, and learn the ethics behind fieldwork through the IRB and CITI process. Taught by Dr. Jordan Levy and grounded in research on migration and Latin America, this class gives you practical tools to study power, culture, and social change while gaining experience that prepares you for advanced research, grad school, or community-based work.
