Ida Noyes Hall, located at 1212 E. 59th Street, is an 82,000 square-foot facility originally designed to be a women's gymnasium and social center at the University of Chicago. Over the years, the facility has undergone modest changes and has hosted many events, large and small, for the University community. The central goal of Ida Noyes Hall is to provide facilities and services to student organiz

ations and university departments. Ida Noyes Hall is home to the Career Advancement which is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building, the Maroon (located in the Lower Level), and The Pub (also located in the Lower Level). Each year, Ida Noyes Hall hosts a variety of Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) activities, department events, corporate recruiting sessions, parties, and special events. In 1987, the Ida Noyes gymnasium was converted into Max Palevsky Cinema, and since that time, Doc Films has been screening movies every night of the academic year. Ida Noyes Hall boasts 8 beautiful event spaces for student groups, university departments, and outside clients:
-Cloister Club
