ComEd is hosting the Bronzeville Film Festival that features documentaries created by college students.

The festival is for college students to envision and submit short documentary films on the central theme of Community of the Past; Community of the Future depicting Bronzeville’s historic legacy as well as emerging challenges like climate change that would impact the community in the future.

All submissions to the film festival will be subject to a competition where the winner team/individual will receive a $5,000 scholarship and will be sponsored at the Cannes TV and Media Film Festival.

The United Minds Inspiring Innovation (UMII) scholarship application for the Fall 2019 term is open. UMII supports Illinois Tech undocumented students who demonstrate financial need but do not qualify for federal aid (FAFSA).
