Black Student Union at Roosevelt University The Black Student Union is a campus-based student organization that focuses on the improvement of campus life for all students at Roosevelt University.

The Black Student Union is dedicated to the creation of academic events centered around all aspects of Black and African Diaspora Studies, and African/African-American History. We also provide resources for members to become involved in community service projects within the greater Chicago area. As members of the Black Student Union, we desire to preserve and enhance a strong sense of community be

tween all students enrolled at Roosevelt University in commemorating Black heritage. We collectively represent the interests and concerns of Black students, faculty, and administration at Roosevelt University by way of political, educational, social, and community service initiatives. Membership is open to all Roosevelt University students, faculty and staff. Membership is also open to non-Roosevelt University affiliated community members who are interested in the recruitment, retention, and graduating of students of African descent and/or the further development of the Black community.
