Cultivating the Flame Within 🔥
On Saturday, October 18th, 2025, UIC Fraternity & Sorority Life hosted its Inaugural FSL Ambassadors Retreat, themed “Cultivating the Flame Within.” The program focused on purpose-driven leadership, authenticity, and influence — empowering our ambassadors to serve as positive change agents within the UIC community.

We were honored to welcome Associate Vice Chancellor Joy Vergara as our keynote speaker for
🕥 “From Spark to Stewardship: Exploring the Why Behind Leadership,”
a powerful session that challenged and inspired our student leaders to lead with courage and compassion.
