“For the next five years, I would like to finish my Masters program in Anthropology here at NIU and obtain my Masters degree. I am not sure whether or not to pursue a PhD after, but for now, I am focusing on graduate school.”

“My advice for undergraduates is to always believe in yourself and try something that may be out of your comfort zone. I don’t think I would have been able to achieve all of the things I achieved during my undergrad whether that be awards, internships, and roles in organizations, if I doubted myself and didn’t at least try. Being confident in who you are as a person and the skills/experiences bring can open doors to many different opportunities that can lead you closer to your goal. It is up to you whether you take it and and I think that you should always do.”
