President Trump is taking control over D.C. this federal takeover of city police and sending in the National Guard. This is extremely dangerous and concerning. He is threatening to go further than Washington DC. Violence is down in most big cities. We need investments in infrastructure, education, and mental wellbeing programs. This is the reason I founded NAFS Healing Collective. I want to save our communities.

Under Trump’s latest executive order, homelessness and mental illness are being criminalized—not cared for. Instead of investing in housing, support, or treatment, this EO pushes forced institutionalization, bans encampments, and punishes people for simply surviving in public. Poverty is not a crime. Mental illness is not a crime. We need compassion, not criminalization. 🖤✊🏾

However, vulnerability is a sign of strength and healing. Black men need safe spaces to share ourselves.
