NEIU McNair Scholars recently had the opportunity to attend the University of Texas San Antonio Graduate School Bootcamp. They participated in three days of networking and learning about the graduate school application process. We are excited for them to utilize all this knowledge as they apply to graduate schools this Fall!

Today's Friday Feature goes to...Chloe G!
Chloe is interested in the significance of Culturally Relevant Pedagogy (CRP) as it pertains to Latino students and how to academically justify Culturally Relevant music curriculum to education administrators. Her research questions focus on choral pieces from Latin America (or written by Latin American composers) that highlight systems of oppression and how these pieces diversify Choral Music Education curriculum within the US for students in grades 7-12.
