UIC Law has been listed amongst “Legal Education Innovators: Law Schools Shaping 2026”! Check out this 10-page cover story feature by The Education Magazine illustrating how the law school is “redefining legal education and equipping students with the skills to excel in the modern legal landscape.”

Legal education is more than just theory—it’s about impact. ⚖️

As Chicago’s only public law school, the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law is redefining what it means to prepare the next generation of attorneys. By bridging the gap between rigorous academic training and real-world practice, UIC Law is creating a path for students to lead, question, and pursue justice with intent.

Whether through their flexible evening programs, performance-based admissions pathways like SCALES, or cutting-edge training in legal technology and AI, the school is built for students who are ready to turn their purpose into a profession.

Under the leadership of Dean Nicky Boothe, UIC Law continues to foster a culture of shared responsibility and collaboration, ensuring graduates are not just ready to practice law—they are ready to change the systems they serve.
