During our Girls Who Code graduation, we celebrated so much growth, confidence, and courage, and it’s been so special to see it all come together. To our incredible Girls Who Code team, thank you for the care, energy, and heart you brought into this space. Congratulations once again to our graduating seniors. We are so proud of you. This is only the beginning!! 💻✨

To honor International Women’s Day, UIC Engineering’s Women in Engineering and Equity and Inclusion in Engineering programs held a celebration centered on community, reflection, and connection. Students worked together on an origami activity and listened to stories and advice from a panel of women from academia and industry.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Friday for our first WIEP Community Care and Connection!! You all truly brought our new lounge space to life. It was amazing to see everyone come together to create, connect, and enjoy a well-deserved break.

From coaster painting 🎨 to great conversations and good energy all around, this is exactly the kind of community we hope to keep building in this space.

The UIC Society of Automotive Engineers are absolutely crushing it at the 2026 Chicago Auto Show and making UIC Engineering so proud!

Year after year, they show up with passion, confidence, and leadership, and it shows in everything they do. We loved stopping by, cheering them on, and celebrating the incredible work they are doing. This is what UIC Engineering is all about. 🚗🔥✨

Today’s Engineering Confidence Workshop was full of energy, laughter, and real connection! Students jumped into activities, tried something new, and practiced confidence together💪⚡️

Confidence isn’t about being the loudest or having the “right” answer. It’s about trusting yourself, responding in the moment, and giving yourself permission to keep going, and our students did exactly that today!

Plus, everyone took home a little WIEP companion 🧸✨ because confidence is something you carry with you.

Thank you SO much to every student who joined us, shared with us, and opened your hearts during our bullet journaling, art, and grounding activities. Your honesty, creativity, and reflection made the space feel so warm, brave, and connected.

It was beautiful watching you slow down, create, and give yourselves a moment of care before finals. You brought so much joy and sincerity into the room.

We’re proud of you, and so grateful you chose to end the semester with us. Finish strong, engineers! ✨
