Hey Wildcats 🐾 The September edition of the University Housing monthly newsletter, Wildcat Living, was sent to all residents this morning, as well as the parent/guardian email listed.

As a reminder, the no-guest time period for Labor Day begins today Thursday, Sept. 3rd at 5PM until Tuesday, Sept. 8th at 8AM. During this time, no guests (including family members) can enter the residence halls.

We had such a great time welcoming our new Wildcats to their new home away from home yesterday!

The University Housing Monthly Newsletter was sent to all residents today, as well as the parents/guardian email listed. If you did not receive it & would like to in the future, please work with your student to make sure your email is added in the Resident Center.

Hey Wildcats 🐾 As move-in gets closer, here’s one of our biggest packing tips: pack less than you think you’ll need!

Chico stays warm well into the fall, so we recommend leaving your winter clothes at home and swapping out some of your summer wardrobe when you’re home for Fall Break. It’ll save valuable space in your room!

As you’re packing, ask yourself:
Will I actually use this at least once a week?
If I end up needing it, could I just buy it in Chico later?

Chico has plenty of shopping options, so don’t feel like you need to bring everything on day one. Pack the essentials, settle in, and pick up anything else as you need it. Your future self (and your move-in helpers!) will thank you!
